Sy Q Le, MD, HCLD

Dr. Le is the founder and medical director of Advanced Reproductive Care Center of Irving. He is one of the few clinicians who are also certified as a high complexity laboratory director (HCLD). He oversees the Embryology and Andrology laboratories as well as the Assisted Reproductive Technologies program. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch and completed residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he won several awards serving as chief resident. He received fellowship training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He is board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Obstetrics & Gynecology. He has served as a clinical assistant professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center and is the author of several scientific journal articles. Dr. Le has special interest in management of complex endocrine problems such as polycystic ovary syndrome, menstrual irregularity, and abnormal sexual development. He specializes in operative laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and all aspects of Assisted Reproductive Technologies.

Dr. Le aims to provide the highest-quality reproductive medical services to his patients using the most cost effective pathway, from basic therapies to the most advanced technologies available. He uses a focused, holistic approach individualized for each patient. He is also committed to empowering patients with accurate and understandable information, encouraging them to share in the informed decision-making process. Dr. Le was honored as one of "America's Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists" by the Consumers' Research Council of America in 2003, Super Doc by Texas Monthly Magazine every year since 2004, and Top Doc by Forth Worth Magazine in 2007. He had served on the Quality Assurance Committees at Baylor Medical Center of Irving and Las Colinas Medical Center, and is currently a member of the Medical Executive Committee at the Irving-Coppell Surgical Hospital.

 

Dr. Le is a lifetime member of the American Medical Association and has active membership in the Texas Medical Association, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Fertility, the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and the American Association of Bioanalysts.

After graduating summa cum laude from Indiana University majoring in Chemistry and Biology, Dr. Haas obtained his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He subsequently served his OBGYN residency at the University of Tennessee at Memphis before successfully completing a three-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and is board eligible for Reproductive Endocrinology. Dr. Haas had conducted research in the area of human ovarian physiology, with special emphasis on polycystic ovarian syndrome. He had presented his findings in national meetings and had published in scientific journals and book chapters.

 

Dr. Haas practiced in Miami before returning to Texas to join our team. His expertise includes reproductive and menstrual disorders, recurrent pregnancy loss, endometriosis, fertility surgery, and all aspects of in vitro fertilization. In 2007 Dr. Haas was honored as one of "America's Top Reproductive Endocrinologists" by the Consumers' Research Council of America.

 

Dr. Haas is a member of the Texas Medical Association, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
