Renju Raj, MD is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and the subspecialty of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Dr. Raj has extensive experience as a medical educator, researcher and physician. He’s proud to be a member of the widely acclaimed and successful team of fertility experts at IVFMD and see patients at the clinic in Arlington, Texas. Dr. Raj strives to provide patients with cost-effective, evidence-based fertility treatments with the utmost compassion and understanding.

He works to make his patients feel well-supported during their journey at IVFMD, focusing on making their experience as fruitful and stress-free as possible. Dr. Raj also believes strongly in educating and empowering his patients to become part of the decision-making process regarding their treatment options.

Dr. Raj has a variety of special interests in the field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility, including the multidisciplinary management of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). His interests also include recurrent pregnancy loss, endometrial receptivity and implantation, and fertility-sparing surgeries.

This highly-qualified physician earned his medical degree from the prestigious Manipal University in India. He completed his medical residency program in obstetrics and gynecology at Maricopa Medical Center and St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.

After residency, Dr. Raj served as a faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Vermont Medical Center and completed his fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He focused his fellowship research on studying the androgen receptor gene and its effects on treatment outcomes in women with PCOS.

Dr. Raj also conducted extensive research related to embryo implantation and placentation. He has presented his published results to fellow professionals at international medical meetings. His research at the University of Vermont was supported by the renowned National Institutes of Health (NIH). Dr Raj also serves as associate professor at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.
