Shannon Maloney, WHNP, MSN

Shannon Maloney, WHNP, MSN, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Adelphi University in Long Island, New York. After 8 years of practicing as a registered nurse she continued her studies at University of Alabama Birmingham School of Nursing, completing her Master of Science in Nursing in the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Program.

Her extensive experience and love for women’s health stems from her career as a labor and delivery nurse. Her desire to make a difference in women’s pregnancies and delivery experience led her to practicing all over the country as a travel nurse for many years. She chose to specialize in reproductive medicine after completing her masters because of the opportunity to be a part of a patient’s family-building journey.

She emphasizes the importance of providing education and support to fertility patients in different phases of treatment. She also takes joy in her unique role to be present with them as they go through difficult circumstances as well as the chance to celebrate their successful moments.

She’s proud to be joining a team of widely acclaimed physicians and fertility experts at IVFMD and strongly believes in their goal of providing both cost-effective and evidence-based fertility treatments to all types of patient populations.
