Dr. Sushila Arya is the newest member of our IVFMD physician team. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is eligible for certification in the subspecialty of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Dr. Arya earned her medical degree from the M Dayanand University in India and successfully completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of NY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY. She subsequently received fellowship training in REI while obtaining a Master of Science in Clinical and Translational Science from the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City.

Dr. Arya has received numerous awards throughout her career, including outstanding teaching faculty at several universities. She is an expert on social and oncofertility preservation, PCOS, recurrent pregnancy loss, and reproductive genetics.

Dr. Arya has published her innovative research, review articles, and book chapters on varied topics such as environmental factors affecting fertility, optimizing the use of 3D ultrasound in women’s health care, PCOS, unexplained infertility, intrauterine insemination, metabolic disorders and fertility, ovulation induction, and effect of age on pregnancy. Her research is published in respected peer-reviewed journals. 

Dr. Arya has served as a faculty member at the Texas Tech Health Science Center and is currently involved in teaching residents in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
